INTRODUCTION

The Association is located at the Women's Association of Ikni Douar Doutmanroute, Ait Wafka, Tahala, Tiznit district.

The Association has no political, trade union or religious affiliations.

The aims of the association are to:
- help the women of the Ait Wakfa tribe in Douar     Doutmanroute to combat illiteracy;
- ensure the self-sufficiency of these women by providing training in embroidery and weaving;
- preserve the traditional arts and crafts of the region;
- help these indigent women produce artisanal objects thus providing income to cover their daily needs;
- help children in need of support by preparing them to attend preschool and school;
- establish contact with various regional associations with a view to exchanges in the fields of education and support

for the village women so as to improve their condition ;
- liaise with all concerned parties and the local authorities in order to achieve these aims.
